Things are looking grim. Apart from friends and family, the Earth isn't heeding Vegeta's plea for their genki. Without it, Goku's Super Genki Dama, Vegeta's trump card, has no hope of at last defeating Majin Boo. While Kibitoshin thinks Vegeta should reword his request more politely, ODB remarks a man like Vegeta has too much pride to beg. And time is running short as Mr. Boo's strength is increasingly sapped from a desperate battle with Majin Boo.
"P-Please..." Vegeta's voice says, softly.
"I'm asking you... please, raise your hands!"
It's with a deeply pained voice that Vegeta cries out the Earth, setting aside himself to beg the human race to contribute to this final act against Boo. "I'm asking you... please... raise your hands!"
But it's for naught, as the world goes on, ignoring the voice of a stranger who once came to harm them all and is now doing his best to protect them. The same can be said for Goku, and Mr. Boo. Strangers from other worlds, brought to Earth to destroy it, and now fighting their heart out to protect it... because it's their home.
At length, Mr. Boo is beaten.
But before Majin Boo can strike a final blow, Mr. Satan chucks a rock at him.
It doesn't harm the nigh-invulnerable Majin,
... but it does alert him to the massive energy ball forming in the sky.
With nothing else for it, Vegeta reenters the battle, leaving Goku to plead with humanity.
But he knows he won't last long.
"Everyone on Earth! I beg you! I beg you, please share your genki with me! We need everyone's help! Please, raise your hands to the sky!"
This new voice, the voice of Son Goku, sends a tremor through the population.

Their entire family and village at the Land of Karin,

#17 and some guys he held up for the purpose of making them contribute,
Tenshinhan, Chaozu
Hachan,
Suno,
and the entire Jingle Village,
Lunch,

Mummy-kun, Akkuman, and all those of Uranai Baba's palace,
all those lives Son Goku has touched... contribute to the growing Genki Dama!!
But it still isn't enough, as Majin Boo races at Goku.

Seeing how most humans don't realize it's Son Goku who has saved them so many times, most of the planet still isn't lending their genki. Piccolo sends out himself, Trunks, Goten, and Gohan to do their best at convincing people to contribute.

As for Goten and Trunks, they don't manage to get help, but they do get corn.
Goten likes corn.
But Piccolo has the worst luck of all.

Mr. Satan can only watch as Vegeta as battered...
... and listen as humanity bad mouths the only people who are trying to save them.
And it makes him mad as hell.
"W-Why, you all...!! That's enough out of all of you! Why don't you cooperate, already?! Does this mean you won't listen to a request from me, Mr. Satan-sama?!"
But surprising to no one as much as him, the people do listen. Suddenly, everyone begins to listen.
And trust is born between the freedom fighters and the people of Earth.
"That's right! I wanted to keep it quiet, but it's no use with the secret out! I will defeat Majin Boo for us. So could you quickly lend me your power?!"
And it works.
It really, truly works.
Across the world, every man, woman, child, and dog-person raise their hands to the sky.
All of them chanting, their voices rising with their genki.
Sa - ta - nu
Sa - ta - nu
"I'm beaten. You've got me beaten, Mr. Satan!"
At long last, the super-huge Super Genki Dama is complete.
Vegeta's plan has worked! Now, Goku, defeat Majin Boo!!!
