Story
The Tenka-ichi crowd watches in horror as their young star Videl is utterly brutalized by the brutal Spopovitch.
Though close to losing consciousness, and even her life, Videl refuses to give in.
Watching from the wings, Son Gohan's fury boils up in him, changing him into the same incredible form he took in his battle against Cell. The others feebly try to calm him own, but Gohan, whose anger has always been his hair trigger into battle, can no longer stand idly by as Videl is crushed!
However...!
"Your goofing around ends now, Spopovitch. This isn't what we came here to do. Hurry up and win."
With Yamu's cryptic chiding, Spopovitch kicks Videl from the ring, winning the match.
But Son Gohan swears he'll pay, when they meet in the next round...
Mr. Satan rushes to his daughter's side after Gohan brings her into the infirmary. He can't believe someone as weak as Spopovitch could beat his Videl, and so thoroughly. He tells her not to worry, as Papa he is for her now.
But Videl only has eyes for one man, today.
So Videl will heal quick, Goku teleports to Karin-sama's and picks up some senzu.
Gohan brings her one, despite her doctor and fathers' protests,
and of course, instantly, she's healed.
Now then, time for the fourth round...
Two new comers, Kibito vs Great Saiyaman!
... or as his classmates Erasa, Sharpner, and Tad have realized, Son Gohan.

"You're even worse at keeping your mask on than me."
But there's more on the line in this fight than meets the eye.
Kibito asks Gohan to show him his Super Saiyan power
while Yamu and Spopovitch watch their energy levels--clearly, waiting for someone or something
as Kaioshin explains that, no matter what happens next, they must not interfere.
The Tenka-ichi crowd has no idea all this plot is happening, however. So they're starting to lose their patience.
"WHAT ARE YOU DOING, YOU IDIOTS?!"
"YOU'RE WASTING OUR TIME!"
"HOW LONG ARE YOU TWO JUST GOING TO GAPE AT EACH OTHER?!"
"Y'all shut UP! Somethin' amazin' is about to happen!!"
(Chichi is me defending DBZ to the haters.)
Chichi is more right than she could have even imagined...
... as Son Gohan reveals that he is the Golden Warrior!
"Amateur mistake, son. Should've kept your glasses on."
But far from an epic battle between Super Saiyan 2 Gohan and Kibito, tragedy strikes.
Spopovitch and Yamu leap into the ring to attack Gohan
Kaioshin paralyzes Gohan just long enough to give the duo their opening
once Spopovitch has a hold on him
Yamu begins draining Gohan's energy!
Forgetting Kaioshin's instructions, or maybe not giving a shit, Kuririn tries to leap to Gohan's aid.
Videl does too, only to be stopped by Goku.
"Gohan ain't gonna die that easily..."
Insisting she wait with the rest, Videl reluctantly calms down...
... as Spopovitch and Yamu take flight from the arena, with Gohan's energy sealed away.
... Unknown to them, however, is that Kaioshin follows closely behind!
Chichi now regrets being so eager to see something surprising.
What's cut?
DBZ 217, Videl's police fans rally to support her.
DBZ 218, Satan isn't happy to see the media, probably for the first time ever.
Then Satan recalls Spopovitch's humiliating loss in the first round of the 24th Budokai, where his grudge against their family began.
Erasa and Sharpner run to check up on Videl.
Goku, uh, stops to eat while Videl is fucking dying. (okay)
Chichi has utter confidence one of her boys will win the Budokai.
Sharpner mourns his camera after learning Saiyaman is Gohan.
And Chichi, in DBZ 219, reestablishes how awesome the fight is going to be.
