Top Dragon Ball Z ep 284 - A Last Hope!! We'll Make a Huge Genki Dama by Top Blogger
As Porunga has revived all the innocents who died since Babidi arrived on Earth, and the Earth itself has been brought back to the state it was in before the Tenka-ichi Budokai took place, it appears as though everything to do with Majin Boo was nothing but a scary dream. But it was no dream.
(Having committed too many sins, Dabra remains in Heaven, where he prays for everyone.)
Even now, the battle against Majin Boo is still being waged, in the far off Realm of the Kaioshin... the highest plane of existence in all the universe. And the champion, who has stepped up to battle Majin Boo, bares the face of the Majin Boo who killed most of those same Earthlings -- the Pure Good Mr. Boo. Despite it being a hopeless battle for him, Mr. Boo fights to protect his puppy and his best friend Mr. Satan.
"Hang in there, Boo!!"
(I guess you could call those candies... pop rocks?)
However, unknown to Mr. Boo, Vegeta has a plan for the Earth to defend itself against Majin Boo and put him out of commission once and for all - Son Goku's Genki Dama technique!! Not the regular Genki Dama either, but one where every living human on Earth will contribute to its growth, pushing their ki to the limit, to create an Ultra-Super Genki Dama! But to do it, he needs a way to contact everyone on Earth telepathically, as Babidi did before. Kibitoshin and ODB have no such power, but, Kaio-sama does! (Kaioshin are really bad at their job.)
"Vegeta, for you to choose my Genki Dama as you finishing technique is nice!"
So with Kaio-sama's help, Vegeta sends out a plea to the people of Earth.
"Do you hear me, people of the world?!"
"I am speaking to you from some other place. I believe you already know, but most of you were killed by Majin Boo."
"However, through a mysterious power, I had you brought back to life. Your cities, homes, and such should also be returned just the way they were. However, this is by no means a dream!"
"Right now, in a certain location, there is a warrior who is fighting Majin Boo in your place! But, to be frank, you could say our odds are pretty bad."
"It's Vegeta! That's Vegeta's voice!"
"Majin Boo's strength far exceeds even Cell's!"
"Unnecessary but fair enough."
"And so, we want to make use of your individual power!"
"Raise your hands to the sky!"
"Gather your energy and defeat Majin Boo!"
"It'll wear you out considerably, but don't worry!"
"It will only be as if you just ran as hard as you could."
"Now, do it! Raise your hands!"
Their friends and family contribute their genki to Goku's Genki Dama, and it starts off considerably strong. But if Vegeta were an Earthling, he could have predicted how everyone else would react.
"This has nothing to do with me."
(This is why we can't have nice things.)
Yet as humans selfishly go about their lives as if the voice of a God himself hadn't just made a plea with them to lend themselves to the cause of eliminating a source of pure evil and suffering, Mr. Boo continues to fight, continues to get beaten, for the sake of the good he found on Planet Earth.
But it's no good. Without more genki for the Genki Dama, Mr. Boo, Mr. Satan, the pup Wan-chan, Vegeta, and Son Goku will perish. And the rest of the universe will surely follow.
"Too bad, Vegeta. It was a good idea, though. Huhuhuhm...You understand, don't you, that Earthlings are this level of race, after all?"
(How come after 164 episodes since he was unceremoniously hacked to death, Freeza still feels like the main villain of this story?)
