Top Dragon Ball GT ep 28 - Goku Returns... All of Earth Is My Enemy?! by Top Blogger
Eleven or so months after leaving Earth, the gang of Son Goku, Trunks, and Pan return. And with them, all seven Black Star Dragon Balls, and their new friend, the Machine Mutant Giru. The Earth is saved as they hand the Dragon Balls back to Dende, so he may put them back in the same place the previous Kami kept them, and the Kami before him.
Pan, of course, stresses how much this is all thanks to her grasping the Dragon Balls from General Rild himself, thereby rescuing the Earth. She leaves out how this was all planned out by Giru and Trunks, but then she is the granddaughter of Mr. Satan.
Giru decides to stay with Trunks and return to the Capsule Corporation with him rather than the Paozu with Goku and Pan. Pan is sad to see him go, so she gives him her bandana and her "first kiss".
Which is most definitely the cutest scene in Dragon Ball GT.
(Look at his little robo blushu! Awwww!)
With that, Pan and Goku go to their home, while Trunks and Giru go to theirs. But the Earth has changed in the time since they've been gone.
"Hey son! Want to play catch?"
Trunks returns to a C. Corp. where everyone has been taken over by Baby - his sister, his mother, and even his father, whose body Baby is inhabiting.
Giru defends Trunks from Baby...
... with his NIPPLE ROCKETS!!
"SUUUUPEEEEERRRR!!!!"
But Baby blasts Giru away as he tries to attack again. Trunks wants to help, but Baby activates the egg he planted in his mind back when he briefly took over his body on Planet Pital. Trunks collapses, now Baby's thrall.
Meanwhile, a horde of Baby's human thralls make a stand in front of Mr. Satan's highly barricaded home. Only Boo seems to be left of all the staff who used to live and work at the Satan Estate.
But of course, Mr. Satan has survived as well...
... inside Boo!
Yes, Mr. Satan had Boo absorb him on purpose so he could hide from Baby and his minions. Or according to him, so he could spend the last two months formulating a plan. That plan was apparently to wait for Goku to come back because when Boo spots his ki, Satan tells him to follow him and Pan home!
And Boo's a good boy who does what he's asked.
Fuck what Vegeta said, you're my numba wan, Boo.
Goku and Pan finally arrive at Paozu, only to find Goten, Gohan, Videl, and Chichi aren't acting like themselves! (Chichi won't even let them eat, my god! CHICHI ALWAYS LETS GOKU EAT!)
Goten and Gohan waste no time attacking our duo.
Then we're given an uncharacteristically well-written scene in GT, where Pan begins to cry as she overwhelmed by her own father attacking her so mercilessly. She wonders, child-like, if she did something to deserve this, and Goku comes to her side to assure her she did no such thing. He begs her to stay with him as she begins to close her eyes, but the attack and the stress were too much for the young girl. Pan faints, and Goku clinches his teeth in fury.
Ya done fucked up now.
Goku proceeds to beat the everliving crap out of Goten and Gohan, even going so far as to begin to form a Kamehameha to finish them off; Luckily, Mr. Satan is there just in time to tell him the truth--
Those are his sons, but under the control of the Tsufurian, Baby!
Mr. Satan knows this because Baby tried to take over Boo, but Boo thought the egg wasn't very yummy so he spat it out. (If you don't think Boo is the best fucking character after a plot twist like that, I don't even know who the fuck you are.) But it still told Boo everything he needed to know about Baby, who then told Satan. They were too late to save anyone else, but they'll save Pan and Goku now!!
Just in time for Baby himself to arrive.
(Man, this was a great episode. I hope this doesn't jinx the next one, but well done.)
