Goku gathers with Trunks and Pan at the SS Capsule Corp. to warn them of an impending arrival; A villain who, according to Goku, has a ki stronger than Majin Boo. (Not joking. Last episode Goku fought a Happy Meal Toy, and this week GT is playing the "stronger than the last major villain" card already.) That ki belongs to none other than the Commander of Planet M2...

General Rild.
And it makes Goku wakuwaku as heck.

Furious upon finally meeting the man responsible for Giru's treachery face-to-face, Pan flies off the handle and launches herself at General Rild. Goku and Trunks cringe as they expect her to get her shit wrecked, but given that her power fluctuates as rapidly as her dad's did as a kid...

... she kinda kicks the crap out of him.

(Thanks for the confirmation, GT.)

Rild retaliates by shooting a green kiai at Pan,
but Trunks knocks her out of the way in the last second,
taking the blast that encases him in carbonite.

"I love you."
"I know."
"... wait, I'm a kid so it's okay for me to have a crush on you. But you're 23, so the Han Solo bit makes you sound like a massive pedo."
"... When I was 10 I dated a 50 year old woman, so my grasp on these things is pretty shitty."
(Ew.)

Anyway, since this is Dragon Ball GokuTime, Trunks' carbonite container is instantly transported back to the main tower on Planet M2, where it's going to be teleported to Dr. Myuu on his world. Okay, a bunch of things:
  • If Rild can encase people in carbonite why didn't he do that to Goku and Trunks once he found out their powers couldn't be measured?
  • If their computers can just teleport people, why did they spend so much time analyzing Goku and Trunks instead of sending them off-world immediately?
  • Up until this episode, M2 has been called Dr. Myuu's planet, but it's actually ran by Rild and Myuu wasn't intending to come back any time soon?
  • So why would Dolltacki come here if it wasn't Myuu's main planet?
  • Why would they ever keep Goku and Trunks on this planet?
  • Did they even think a single episode ahead when they wrote these?

So Pan flies off to save Trunks while Rild shoots his mouth-carbonite-beam at Goku, which misses him but successfully encases the SS Capsule Corp. (But will they even remember this when they write the next script?) Seeing Goku's speed, Rild decides to take the fight hand-to-hand until Goku is vulnerable enough to encase in carbonite. By which, I mean, he completely forgets he can do that for the rest of the episode.

But whatever man, these two are awesome.
Fuck yeah.

Meanwhile, Pan infiltrates the Mutant Machine HQ tower again, but uses a different tactic from last time. This time she just straight up murders every robot she sees.

"There's something I want to know. Do you cyborgs feel fear?"

Back at Goku and Rild, their battle is heating up.

(This is seriously the coolest thing to happen in GT since Ledgic.)

"If Dr. Myuu were to reconstruct you, he would likely create the mightiest of Machine Mutants."
"If I became somethin' like that, it'd probably make Chichi cry again. There's no way I'm going to become like that!"

Back at Pan...
She manages to murder her way to Trunks,
but he's teleported just as she gets there.
She turns to confront Giru but then the ground starts doing weird shit.
Causing the building to poop her out.

Meanwhile, on Dr. Myuu's Planet.
"You have done well, General Rild. Thank you for my adorable little guinea pig. I'm so excited!"
(Guys, I think Dr. Myuu is going to fuck Trunks.)

Goku uses his contractually-obligated Kamehameha of the episode (y'know, you could never make the Kamehameha uncool, but damn if GT isn't trying their hardest by fitting it in to every episode), which beats up Rild pretty bad, though Goku compliments him on escaping the full force at the last second.

However, Rild has something else up his robo-sleeves...

... the Happy Meal Toys return!
... buuuut Goku instantly blasts them apart by going Super Saiyan.
(Wish you'd did that at the start of the last episode, bro.)

Both fighters feeling excited by the new challenge, General Rild decides to transform as well; By combining with what remains of the Mega Cannon Sigma, he becomes...

Hyper Mega Rild!
(aka the Bandai version of the Happy Meal Toy.)

Finally, we get to see Goku go all-out... but like, on the next episode.

Whatever fuck you I like this episode a lot. GT is like narrative whiplash.
