Thanks to Giru efforts, the SS Capsule Corp. is unfrozen from its metallic tomb, and Goku, Trunks, and Pan can resume their efforts to collect the seven Black Star Dragon Balls and save the Earth from impending doom - especially now that the pesky Dr. Myuu is out of the way.

... but not if General Rild has anything to say about it!
"Remember me? Stronger than Majin Boo, the whole Planet M2 is my body."
"Kame... hame... ha!!!"
"WHO WOULD HAVE THOUGHT THAT'S ALL IT TOOK?????"
"Fuck you!"
"Yeah, Rild..."
"... fuck you."

So Rild tries to stop them from leaving but a triple Kamehameha from the kids seems to stop him. But... not really, since it appears like... Baby actually kills him? Well, he seeps out of him, and then screams at the GTang. I'm not really sure what's happening in this scene, except Rild seems for real dead and it's more likely Baby did it than a triple Kamehameha from Goku, Trunks, and Pan with Goku and Trunks not even Super Saiyans. But, y'know.

(RIP General Rild. You're my favorite GT OC.)

As our heroes sail the stars, Giru picks up on a signal of the next Dragon Ball, coming from within an abandoned and wrecked spaceship. Pan wonders if it was hit by a meteor shower but Trunks is certain it was destroyed from the inside. Giru tells them that thanks to the nearby star's gravity, which is 68x bigger than Earth's (how does gravity even work in Dragon Ball), they only have ten minutes to get on the ship and get the Dragon Ball before they'll be unable to escape the star's powerful gravitational field.

Obviously, as someone who working out in 100x Earth's gravity is passé, Goku is just going to go Super Saiyan, fly over to the ship, move it somewhere well outside the star's gravity, and then give them plenty of time to search it freely. Right?

... or he'll just ride a little scooter to the star because who fucking cares.

Our heroes get aboard the wrecked starship and find a pocket that still has oxygen, so instead of preserving the oxygen for whatever lifeforms might still be alive and in need of rescue, they take off their fucking helmets. (Where is Bulma to tell y'all that you're stupid as hell.)

They easily find the One-Star-Ball within, but Trunks thinks it was found a little too easily. ("I didn't have to crossdress and get married to a weird monster or anything!")

Then they send Pan off by herself to search for the inevitable lifeforms that are still around in this oxygenated partition.

"Y'all are stupid as hell."
(Thanks, Bulma.)

Giru realizes he miscalculated and that they only have three minutes to escape.
Goku and Trunks show up to save Pan from some kinda security droid.
... but Pan didn't need saving.
They find the ship's only survivor - a green kid.
And then Goku uses a Kamehameha to blast them back to their ship.
(Which is pretty sick, even if it's a rehash of one of the best Z fillers.)

Giru puts out an emergency signal once they're back aboard the SS Capsule Corp., which gets an almost immediate response from the nearby Planet Pital.

A beautiful world,
which is actually a massive hospital.
(Eat your heart out, George Lucas.)

"The boy is responding well to treatment and will recover in no time! Unless there's some sort of 'Akira' reference."
*explosion*
*Not-Tetsuo*

Meanwhile, Goku is ready to leave Planet Pital at once.
"I hate needles! Let's get off this planet quick!"
'Man, fuck you guys.'
