Top Dragon Ball GT ep 12 - God's Revelations Are Big Trouble!! Lood Gets Underway by Top Blogger
On the Planet Lood, Goku and Trunks have arrived at the temple of Loodism, worship hall of the God of Destruction Lood-sama. After defeating the prayer-giver Mutchi-motchi, our heroes must fight against his whip given physical form, Mutchi (two characters, exact same name pun), lest they fail at rescuing Pan, Giru, and claiming the Six-Star Black Star Dragon Ball.
Mutchi is Nakatsuru's first rad design of DBGT, so it promises to be the first "epic" GT bout.
What's an epic GT bout? Well, imagine what you think it is, then lower your standards.
Mutchi opens by whipping his whip-arms at the boys.
Then he uses magic to attack Goku with swords.
While Trunks struggles with magic bricks.
Then he uses magic to light Goku's butt on fire.
While Trunks struggles with magic bricks.
Then he uses magic to hold Goku in place with floor-hands while whipping him.
While Trunks struggles with magic bricks.
Goku turns Super Saiyan,
but gets it immediately choked out of him.
Trunks turns Super Saiyan,
and finally smashes those fucking bricks.
Then he kills Mutchi in one attack, and I don't know if I believe there's more to life than a chaotic, uncaring, unfathomable universe anymore.
Meanwhile, the mysterious gloved man strokes Doll-Pan like a beloved pet.
One of Lood-sama's guards comes into the mysterious man's room as he watches the Saiyans battle (and murder the fuck out of) Lood's Priest. The man asks the guard to gather all the believers in the main hall. They must use their final measure if they're to battle these invaders. (I'm sure this final measure will be a-okay for Lood's followers.)
This man is Dolltacki, and he is the Prophet of Lood.
Other than his guards and inner circle, it has been 20 years since Dolltacki has been seen by the believers. 20 years isn't a totally weird time for a death cult to have existed with a reclusive leader, but Dolltacki's flamboyant '90s dress style and the in-coming twist sorta cast into doubt that this could have really gone on for 20 whole years.
Lood isn't real, he's just a machine who sustains himself off the energy of others. Why wait 20 years to eat all your followers? But how the followers figure it out is the best.
Lood's eyes glow.
"Hey, wait, Gods don't do that! This is some kinda MACHINE!"
No one in a cult has ever been this capable of reason.
Still, everyone is turned to dolls and eaten by Lood.
Well, all the dolls except for one: Pan-chan, Dolltacki's favorite new toy. Because it turns out Dolltacki is the worst kind of supervillain/cult leader...
He's an Otaku.
He makes this actual face as he reaches over to change Pan into a "cuter outfit".
And Pan can only watch in paralyzed horror as his cheeto-covered gloves touch her greedily.
Then he makes this actual face when he lifts up her shirt.
What the fuck is happening anymore, Toei.
But before he can perv any further on the little girl member of this cast (something the showrunners of GT seem to forget WAY TOO OFTEN), Dolltacki's computer tells him that Lood's energy, while not completely full, is at functional capacity.
Now it's time for the showdown between Son Goku and Trunks vs the Pedo and his Giant Baby.
Fuck. How many more episodes left?
