Top Dragon Ball GT ep 17 - Leave It to Pan! Operation Rescue Goku!! by Top Blogger
Having been kidnapped thanks to the treacherous actions of their robotic ally Giru, Pan has infiltrated the Machine Mutant HQ to rescue her grandpa and friend from General Rild's human experiments (and his bedroom eyes). And she's disguised as the most confident member of the Mutant Machine patrol bots.
Fly as a falcon.
Her patrols eventually lead her to a room where General Rild is holding a ceremony honoring the great hero of Planet M2, DB4649T2006RS (aka Giru), for succeeding in gathering three Black Star Dragon Balls and capturing two specimens stronger than even Lood for experimentation. Pan deduces that this must be Dr. Myuu's home world.
Just in time for Pan to be put back on patrol,
where she's quickly branded a faulty, reject model,
and thrown in the garbage chute with the other rejects.
(How does no one read human life signs off of her by now...?)
She meets a kind but faulty pink robo who confirms her suspicion about this world being ruled by Dr. Myuu, and goes onto say that it wasn't always so.
The planet's population was exterminated and replaced by Dr. Myuu's Machine Mutants, which is his dream for the entire universe. Pan asks where Son Goku and Trunks are, and the robot tells her they're on the top level, where they're being experimented on right now.
Yet what the Machine Mutants find makes them figuratively shit a brick.
(Or maybe literally, since they eat all that metal.)
The upper limits of Goku's Battle Power is completely undetectable...!!
Rild wonders if he shouldn't just have the Saiyans killed now while they sleep soundly, but Dr. Myuu said to keep them alive, so he shall. But with that kind of power, the top Machine Mutants will stand no chance against them if they manage to get away. (Except that the Mega Cannon Sigma totally caught them last time but okay.) That's when Giru brings up that he has a record of all their fights since he joined them, and by analyzing the data, the Mega Cannon Sigma can close the gap between them and the Saiyans.
So the Mega Cannon Sigma watch Dragon Ball GT, thus far.
"This is really not very good."
Back at Pan, she finds out the reject pile is in the middle of a Star Wars reference trash compactor, so she blasts herself out and rescues her new little buddy in the process.
(What a nice dog.)
One of the Sigma Commandos come to capture Pan and she battles him by breaking the fuck out of the wall he keeps melting back into.
(I wonder if they had children? Pan clearly didn't when she took their lives without batting an eyelash.)
The Sigma Commando brags that he knows all of his techniques after learning them from her "friend" DB4649T2006RS.
Igniting with that famed Saiyan fury, Pan's ki skyrockets.
And she blasts him into pieces, projecting much further than the data ever suggested.
(But never achieving Super Saiyan even though this scene was perfect for it. Boo.)
Angry from how the Mega Cannon Sigma Commandos laugh over footage of everyone being friendly to Giru, Goku wakes up and bursts out of his cage, just as Pan bursts through the door. They're about to learn what happens when you mess with the crew of Proto-One Piece.
Trunks gets broken out too, but mostly as an after thought.
