Story
A few days ago...
"Hm, what's this?"
"Looks like some kind of bomb Dr. Gero put inside #16."
"I should probably take it out. Probably no harm in doing that."
Today.
"Why aren't I exploding?"
"You fucked up."
#16's final act was to take Cell down with him in a glorious kamikaze attack. Unfortunately for him, he'd been de-bombed by Doc Brief, leaving him open to be decapitated by Cell. As the peaceful android's body chunks rain down around the battle field...
... Gohan stands around like a goober, doing nothing.
Cell decides he'll need help if he's going to make Gohan really mad.
So he poops out a bunch of little Cells.
Cells Junior, if you like.
And they launch right into action.
Cell sends his Juniors after the Z Team. Each one of them being roughly one-seventh of Perfect Cell's strength, they're a lot for Gohan's friends to handle. Apart from Vegeta and Trunks, no one has comes close to match evenly with the Juniors, and as for the full powered Super Saiyans, they can only just keep up.
With all of his friends and father dying in front of him...
... Gohan just stands there, like a goober.
But 16 has a plan.
Appealing to Mr. Satan's pride, 16 talks the Champ into taking him across the battlefield to where Gohan and Cell stand. Mr. Satan does as he's bid, rushing the field and chucking 16's head right between the boy and the monster. It's 16's only hope that by speaking some words of inspiration to Gohan, that the young warrior will find his nerve.
"Hey, Gohan."
"Stop sucking and do your goddamn job."
"Heh, I guess it's true... Gingers really don't have souls."
"... Ginger jokes..."
"Hm?"
"... AREN'T FUNNY!!!"
"SOUTH PARK WAS MAKING AN IRONIC COMMENT ABOUT RACISM!!"
"TO REPLACE RACIST JOKES WITH GINGER JOKES IS MISSING THE WHOLE POINT!!"
"... AND IT JUST SHOWS HOW OUT OF YOUR DEPTH YOU ARE, CREATIVELY!!"
"SO PREPARE TO HAVE A SENSE OF IRONY BEATEN INTO YOUR THICK SKULL, RUBE!"
