Majin Boo has reverted back to his purest form.
But if he no longer has the strength of others to feed on, why is Kibitoshin so frightened?
Kibitoshin tells ODB of a time far, far back, when Earthlings were just beginning to walk on two-legs. Back then, the Kaioshin Realm was watched over by the gentle, tubby, but powerful Grand Kaioshin. His subjects were the Kaioshins of the North, West, South, and East, respectively.
Grand Kaioshin likes to eat and chill the fuck out.
Kaioshin of the North is the old guy.
Kaioshin of the West is the girl.
Kaioshin of the South is the buff dude.
Kaioshin of the East is the young upstart.
But their peace didn't last when Madoshi Bibidi created the terrible Majin Boo, and used him to subjugate any who would oppose his... um... vague goals of evil villainness.
Worlds fell to the Majin's might...
... but Boo was unpredictable and hard to control.
A failed experiment, in other words.
Failure or not, Bibidi continued to use him long enough for the Kaioshin to intervene.
But his powers were only absorbed into Boo, turning him into his first transformation - the muscular Boo who was even stronger than Super Boo, once Good Boo was removed from his brain. And he came to the Kaioshin Realm to finish the job by taking on East Kaioshin and the Grand Kaioshin.
Although Grand Kaioshin proved his might against this new Boo...
... he too was absorbed into the greater sum of Majin Boo.
This gave birth to that fat and jolly Majin Boo that first appeared on Earth. He was much easier for Bibidi to control due to Grand Kaioshin's gentle personality (he bribed him with cake), but on the other hand, Majin's Boo power was lowered due to this same gentle nature.
And that is why "Kid" Majin Boo is the most dangerous of all Boo; Not raw power, but because he has no nature other than chaos. He isn't anything more than pure, unadulterated malice given physical form. The embodiment of evil ki. This is the true nature of Majin Boo. And the real crime Bibidi and Babidi committed on the universe.
Back on Earth, Goku and Vegeta lay Gohan, Trunks, Goten, and Piccolo down in the grass where they can rest off their ordeal of being trapped in Boo's mind. Now it's just up to Otosan and Papa to take care of this new Majin Boo before the Earth is destroyed.
Well... about that.
As Kibitoshin explained to ODB in his flash back, the true Majin Boo is nothing if not unpredictable. As Goku and Vegeta fly up to confront him, he lets out a massive bellowing roar that shakes the entire planet - tornadoes form, lightning crackles, buildings split to pieces. And then he calms, for a mere second, before shooting a ki blast directly at the planet with enough power to blow up the entire thing.
Oops.
Vegeta deflects Boo's blast with his own,
and then screams out a challenge for Majin Boo to fight them first.
Boo responds by turning, smiling,
and creating a massive ball of energy that will definitely destroy the planet.
All Goku and Vegeta can do is make a break for Dende, Mr. Satan, Wan-chan, the boys, and Piccolo... and hope Goku's Instantaneous Movement can get them to freedom before they all die in the explosion.
It's no good. Goku can't make it in time to pick up the boys and Piccolo, and were it not for Kibitoshin's timely rescue, he would have never managed to search out an appropriate ki for them to teleport to. Elder Muuri, the new Grand Elder of Planet Namek, senses Earth's destruction from lightyears away. Kaio-sama gasps in horror as he witnesses his number 1 student barely make it off yet one more exploding planet. But worst of all, despite all their efforts inside Majin Boo, Gohan, Goten, Trunks, and Piccolo still died.
"We may have made it, but the Earth, and the boys..."
"Why the hell did you save these guys and that dog before Trunks and the others?!"
"I'm sorry... truly."
Although Dende is saved, the Dragon Balls must have surely exploded with Earth itself. What will our heroes do, once Majin Boo regenerates?
