Tired of Gohan just dodging all of his attacks (me too, Cell), Cell finally unleashes the very depths of his Perfect strength.
It's pretty impressive.
But it doesn't work out.
"Uuughhhhhaaat the fuuuuugck"

"bluuughhhhnhfff"
"gguunnnhgggggTHEFUCK"

Furious, Cell tries out Kuririn's Kienzan.
It doesn't work out.
Piccolo's Makankosappo.
It doesn't work out.
Son Goku's Super Kamehameha.
It doesn't work out.
"WWUUUUUUUHTTTTTTTHHHHEEEEFYUUUUUCCCKKK"
After kissing two Super Kamehamehas, Cell feels a little sleepy.
"This tournament is dumb and I hate it."
Watching, Goku recalls feeling the depth of Gohan's ki while they trained.
Also it made Gohan into a weird little monster.
But for some reason, Goku is surprised that after forcing the ki out of him, he's a weird little monster.

This story infers that Gohan is some kind of cold-blooded killer, because of his anger.
But it's using his pre-established rages to lend it credence
even though all his previous flip outs have been defensive, not aggressive.
"Don't hurt X" is usually the scenario, and Gohan never smirks or takes pleasure in the combat.
... Unlike this upsetting weirdo.
One could argue that in all of Gohan's previous rages, he never kept the upperhand for long.
Except he has.
Unlike Goku, Gohan learned how to control his Oozaru form, and but quick, too.
More simply though, Gohan is just a sweet little boy.
Not whatever this upsetting weirdo is trying to be.
Though to be fair, like everything else with Gohan during the Cell Games, this hasn't been brought up until this episode. We're supposed to believe Gohan is this way because of his power rages, but like how I pointed out before that Gohan stopped being hesitant several storylines ago, his power rages have never, ever been like they are here.
Kuririn, who is Dragon Ball's Hermione Granger when it comes to dishing out exposition, surmises that it's because he's half human, which keeps his wild Saiyan side easily in check.
But even more upset than I, is Cell. So upset, he starts screaming his catchphrase.
"FUCKING SHIT"
Cell Hulks the fuck out,
then tries to take on Gohan.
It doesn't work out.
Continuing in this episode's proud tradition, Cell vomits, again.
This time though, he vomits up #18.
"Did he just... puke up a girl?"
And with that, ladies and germs,
the Frog Man returns.
"... I don't suppose you'll be like Vegeta and let me go Perfect, will ya?"
"... Worth a try."
Seeing he has no other option, Cell goes full fucking Loony Tunes.

What's cut?
DBZ 186, the fight with Cell is longer and more boring.
And even Muggles feel Cell powering up.
In DBZ 187, Mr. Satan decides to make Gohan his student
then expels his current students.
In DBZ 188, Newsman comments on how much Cell is puking.
And Gohan plays with Froggy a bit longer.
